As a Sales Manager at Celero Commerce, you will lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of National Account Executives and Business Development Representatives to achieve and exceed growth targets. Your role blends leadership, strategy, and direct sales to maximize results and foster a culture of accountability and success.You will conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, pipeline reviews, and team strategy meetings to ensure your team is motivated, focused, and equipped to win. A majority of your time will be spent working side by side with your team to guide them through the sales process, provide real-time feedback, and close key opportunities. Additionally, you will play an active role in recruiting, onboarding, and developing new sales talent. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the performance of your sales team, ensuring consistent achievement of individual and team sales goals
- Partner with team members on client meetings, helping close larger strategic deals while reinforcing best practices
- Conduct regular sales floor observations to coach, and motivate your team, ensuring the consistent execution of the sales process
- Facilitate weekly pipeline reviews, team meetings and one-on-ones to evaluate progress, identify opportunities, and address challenges
- Collaborate with senior leadership on sales strategies, forecasting, and recruiting efforts
- Monitor sales activity and maintain accountability through performance metrics and CRM usage
- Act as a liaison between your team and executive leadership, providing insights to improve processes, products, and strategies
- Support the team in prospecting new clients and nurturing existing relationships
- Ensure accurate and timely CRM documentation of client interactions, pipeline activity, and performance metrics
- Stay current on Celero’s product portfolio, as well as emerging technologies and trends within the payments and fintech industry
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing new team members to sustain growth
- Other duties as assigned to support team success
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience leading and motivating sales teams
- Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills
- Strong prospecting and business development expertise
- Goal-oriented, incentive-driven, and passionate about sales leadership
- Professional demeanor with a high level of integrity and accountability
- Ability to thrive in both independent and team environments
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive performance under pressure
- Experience in the payments or financial technology industry strongly preferred
Reports to: SVP of Direct Sales
Start date: Immediate
Employment type: Full-time; Exempt
Compensation: $50,000 base salary + uncapped earning potential with tiered bonuses based on revenue and MID target attainment paid monthly/ quarterly
