Celero Commerce is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director, Finance & Corporate Development to join our growing Finance & Accounting team onsite in Brentwood, TN. This high-impact leadership role will play a critical part in shaping our long-term financial strategy, supporting acquisition activity, and driving scalable financial planning and analysis across the business.

This role requires a unique blend of corporate finance, M&A, and operational rigor. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in investment banking or strategic finance, experience leading high-performing teams, and a hands-on approach to building financial infrastructure in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

You will work closely with the CFO, Chief of Staff, and CEO on strategic initiatives, M&A transactions, and corporate planning, and serve as a key thought partner to the executive leadership team. This is a highly visible position with exposure to private equity sponsors and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the FP&A team and coordinate with external consultants to conduct financial modeling and due diligence for acquisition targets

  • Drive annual budgeting, monthly reforecasting, and long-range planning processes in collaboration with senior leadership

  • Partner cross-functionally with business unit leaders to evaluate growth initiatives, commercial opportunities, and operational efficiencies

  • Analyze and present insights on key performance indicators and financial results to inform executive decision-making

  • Develop board-ready materials and executive presentations for monthly business reviews and quarterly board meetings

  • Manage financial communications with private equity partners, lenders, and key external stakeholders

  • Own development and refinement of reporting tools, dashboards, and scenario planning models

  • Collaborate with accounting and operations to enhance monthly close processes and financial transparency

  • Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 direct reports, with a focus on development, accountability, and performance

  • Support post-merger integration planning, financial synergies tracking, and execution of strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, including investment banking and/or strategic corporate finance

  • Strong background in M&A transactions, due diligence, and valuation

  • Demonstrated success in building FP&A capabilities within a high-growth or acquisitive environment

  • Proven leadership experience managing direct reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Experience in payments, financial technology, merchant services, or B2B SaaS is strongly preferred

  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and executive-level communication

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial planning tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
