You’ll lead complex, cross-functional projects across teams and departments, helping transform strategic goals into operational wins. From roadmap alignment to delivery execution, you’ll ensure initiatives move forward with clarity, accountability, and measurable impact. Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning activities to develop a comprehensive project charter and project plans, including defining project scope, goals, requirements, schedule, budget, and RAID. 
  • Lead diverse project teams and facilitate cross-team collaboration, ensuring alignment and engagement at all levels. 
  • Take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from initial planning through to execution and closure, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and achieve project objectives. 
  • Facilitate meetings at varying levels of complexity, providing thought leadership where applicable, and producing meeting minutes. 
  • Develop team charters and execute defined communication strategies to ensure project teams are informed and operating efficiently. 
  • Maintain project health and escalate when needed to ensure project stays on track. 
  • Oversee risk and scope management, and when necessary, reassess the project plan to ensure requirements can be met. 
  • Ensure thorough documentation and knowledge transfer to relevant teams, supporting continuous improvement. 
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned for future improvements.
  • Assist Product Owners to establish technical requirements. 
  • Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and implement them to drive project success and organizational growth. 
  • Ensure resource optimization and advocate for project needs at the organizational level.
  • Work with sponsors to qualify project requests and evaluate business need for review with Project Committee. 
  • Identify and raise departmental and company-wide opportunities, such as future projects, process inefficiencies, and tooling. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Junior Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Assist supervisor with various department reporting needs, such as program-level presentations, department dashboards, etc.  
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and merchant data. 
  • Attend and participate in job-related classes and webinars. 
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security standards. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Experience & Requirements  

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of project management experience with a proven ability to drive successful project execution
  • Experience in the merchant services or payments
  • Proficiency in Project Management software and tools; experience with Azure DevOps and ClickUp is a plus.
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on written and verbal communication along with conflict management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Requires a balance of technical skills and high-level business acumen.
  • Ownership of team impact, influencing technical strategy, and delivery against the roadmap.
  • Ability to maintain organization while prioritizing responsibilities and workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Aptitude for understanding, interpreting, and analyzing data.
  • Demonstrates strong independent decision-making and ownership of results.
  • Commitment to continual job-related learning, including company systems and external processing platforms.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity while exploring innovative solutions and driving business impact. 

 

Reports to: VP Project Management

Start date: Immediate

Employment type: Full-time; Exempt

Location: Remote, but preference would be given to candidates local to Brentwood, TN

Salary: $75,000-$85,000
