HR Generalist Needed

You’ll be trusted to handle meaningful HR processes – like onboarding and employee recordkeeping – while gaining exposure to broader initiatives and projects. As an HR Generalist, you’ll support key parts of the employee lifecycle – from coordinating and conducting new hire orientations to assisting with offboarding transitions and keeping employee records accurate. You’ll work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT to ensure processes run smoothly, while also contributing to employee engagement and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

  • Onboarding: Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, assist with HRIS setup, process I-9s/E-Verify, and communicate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth start.
  • Offboarding: Support offboarding activities, including HRIS updates, IT coordination, and employee communications.
  • HR Systems & Records: Assist with maintaining employee files, processing personnel changes, and drafting updates such as offer letters and job descriptions.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Provide support with background checks, required trainings, and documentation standards.
  • Employee Experience: Coordinate with managers and teams for first-day readiness, gather feedback through surveys, and assist with engagement activities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and IT to help deliver a consistent, positive employee experience.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Brentwood, TN - based position 
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR (Generalist, Coordinator, or related role).
  • Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS processes.
  • Familiarity with E-Verify and standard HR recordkeeping practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in presenting to groups.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Collaborative, adaptable approach and willingness to pitch in across the HR team.
  • Must be available to work full-time on-site in Brentwood, TN.

 

Reports to: Senior HR Business Partner

Start date: Immediate

Employment type: Full-time; Exempt

Compensation: $55,000 - $58,000
