At Celero, we believe data is more than numbers, it’s the engine that powers our decision-making, drives innovation, and unlocks growth. We’re looking for a Vice President of Business Intelligence to lead our enterprise data strategy and elevate how we deliver insights across the organization.
In this high-impact, hands-on leadership role, you’ll report directly to the CTO and oversee a growing team of data engineers and analysts. You’ll shape and execute the vision for scalable, secure, and self-service data solutions, while ensuring alignment with business priorities across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
This role is ideal for a strategic data leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings deep technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Python-based ETL, and is passionate about building a strong data culture that empowers every corner of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Own the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise data architecture and analytics capabilities
• Build and lead a high-performing data organization (engineering and analysis) with a focus on collaboration and delivery
• Oversee the implementation of scalable data pipelines, modeling practices, and semantic layers using Microsoft Fabric
• Champion best practices for data governance, data quality, security, and compliance (e.g., PCI 4, SOC 2)
• Ensure robust analytics capabilities across departments through scalable Power BI datasets, Fabric Lakehouses, file delivery for 3<sup>rd</sup> party systems, and self-service tooling
• Partner with business leaders to define KPIs, drive measurement frameworks, and embed data into decision-making
• Provide technical and strategic oversight of the data stack, including Python-based ETL (PySpark, Fabric Notebooks), Power BI, and OneLake
• Foster innovation in how data is captured, stored, processed, and visualized across the enterprise
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment between data initiatives and company goals
Experience & Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data roles, including 3+ years in a senior leadership capacity
• Demonstrated success building and scaling enterprise data platforms and teams
• Deep experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, OneLake) or similar tooling
• Strong command of Python for ETL and automation, with fluency in SQL and data modeling principles
• Expertise with Power BI at scale, including DAX, semantic modeling, and performance optimization
• Proven track record in data governance, observability, and regulatory compliance in cloud-native environments (preferably Azure)
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align technical data work to business priorities
Nice-to-Have:
• FinTech or Merchant Services industry experience
• Familiarity with ML/AI applications in business intelligence
• Experience with CI/CD practices for data workflows and Git-based versioning
• Working knowledge of privacy, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SAC, PCI-DSS)

Salary: $180,000-$210,000
